David C. Janssen

David Janssen is a 15 year professional with experiences in New York based record labels; mid-west based financial technology firms and everything in-between.

The bulk of Dave's professional work has been in the business consulting and human resource consulting fields. Working for one of the largest strategic business consulting firms on the globe, he worked with closely held private companies and members of the Fortune 100. Specifically Dave worked on management training and coaching employees in transition. It was in these coaching relationships that Dave found his calling.

"In these coaching discussions we always tried to keep the focus on goals; goals for the company, goals for the team and goals for the individuals being coached. Inevitably, the topic of personal finances would come up, I saw the stress of uncertainty and the relief that a plan provides."

On June 2, 2009 Dave signed his contract with Equitable Advisors and today he focuses on the financial planning that life changes require. Job change or loss, retirement, marriage, birth of a child, loss of a loved one; all of these create financial challenges and opportunities.

Dave lives with his wife June and her son Alec. June's daughter Nicole lives in Omaha and attends the University of Nebraska at Omaha. They enjoy baseball, hunting, the outdoors and their dogs. June and Dave have their own goals. They would like to own some land in Nebraska with a little cabin, and would like to attend all three races of the triple crown. Dave wants a boat, June wants new furniture. They have a plan.
